Sasha and Troy
Most Sentimental Moment
Walking down the aisle and saying our vows were the most emotional parts of our wedding. We didn’t do a first look, so when we saw each other from down the aisle, it was such a special and exciting moment, which caused both of us to cry tears of joy. Our vows were extremely heartfelt and showed everyone how much we truly love each other.
Favorite part with friends and family
Greeting and taking pictures with all of our guests was so much fun. It was so great to see some family and friends who we hadn’t seen in a while, and we were grateful that they came to celebrate with us.
The bride’s family secretly choreographed a dance that came out to be a wonderful surprise!
We wanted to make sure our Christian faith played a big part in our ceremony so we had a unity candle and communion.
How we personalized it
We have had plenty of dates going wine tasting, so our venue was a winery and we served plenty of wine.
We went to Bali the night after our honeymoon. It was also the groom’s 30th birthday during the trip. We did everything from ATV riding to surfing to scuba diving in a shipwreck to river rafting to hiking a volcano to watch the sunrise. We even got a massage every night to end our day. It was such a blast!
Best part of the planning process
Our favorite part of planning was choosing the perfect venue. We did plenty of research, visited different places, and made loads of inquiries, and finally found the right one that fit our vision at Old Sugar Mill.
What’s next for us
We just adopted a new border collie puppy to add to our family, and we are having a blast teaching and training her. And soon after that…babies???

The happy couple
This was right after the ceremony as the new Mr. & Mrs. Cox when we were still high from the excitement of everything.
