Hannah and Nick
Most Sentimental Moment
The most emotional part of our day was the beginning of the ceremony, as I was walking down the aisle to Nick. We did not do a first look, and we got married in a Catholic Cathedral which made it a very long walk to get to him. As I started down the aisle the only think that could keep me from breaking down with deep breaths and to keep my eyes on him, I could not look at any of our guests or my dad accompanying me. The closer I got the nerves started to decrease and the excitement set in. Once I could hold his hands, I felt like we were the only ones in the room!
Favorite part with friends and family
One of our favorite parts with all of our family and friends was dancing the night away with an amazing band!
We are both Catholic, so we had a very traditional wedding for the ceremony. Some special additions to our day had to do with including lace and a rosary from my late grandmother Falvey into my Wedding day look. It was very special to me to have her with me all day.
How we personalized it
One way we personalized our day was showcasing photos of our parents and grandparents on their wedding days. We felt very lucky to have such wonderful role models in our life. We also incorporated a gold monogram on as many items and places during our day. This monogram was important to us as we were joining families and added a traditional touch.
The day after the wedding we headed to Maui for a full week! This was such an amazing place to spend time together and unwind and relax. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton, and they made us feel very special all week as newlyweds!!
Best part of the planning process
One of our favorite parts was dealing with all of our vendors, they all are so very talented and creative. They helped bring our traditional dream wedding to life in many ways we could have never imaged ourselves.
Our Wedding Album
The happy couple
I remember this being one of the best moments where we looked at each other with no stress in the world feeling so lucky to be surrounded by so many people who loved us and we were anxious to get back inside with everyone!
I was a very traditional bride, however I did not have any idea what type of dress I was looking for. With the help of the Bridal Collection in Denver they were so patient with me as I tried on one of everything! I was confident I was going to be a classic bride, but I was so thrilled when I found this dress well within my budget! I wish I could wear this dress everyday, I felt so special and very much myself.
We were very fortunate to be able to get married in the Cathedral in my home town!
Our favorite moment
Our favorite wedding photo
This will forever be my favorite photo, as we are leaving the church while being surrounded by all of our loved ones. Our faces say it all – pure happiness
